Writing Retreat
Spend 3 days at the picturesque Giant’s Causeway, writing,
exploring and learning about the local stories & legends in the
company of our experienced facilitator/ storyteller.
The Writing Retreat is suitable for beginning or
experienced writers. Tutor, Kate Murphy, bases her workshops on the writing
method developed by Pat Schneider of Amherst Writers & Artists, with whom
she has trained. They provide an opportunity to write and respond in an
encouraging, affirming environment where everyone’s work is valued.
Day 1…
begins with an evening meal and a getting-to-know-you
workshop.
Day 2…
offers two workshops (morning and evening) and an afternoon
tour of the area or you may wish to explore on your own.
Day 3…
finishes after a final workshop and lunch.
Writers can arrange to have individual time with the
tutor to discuss their work.
Cost of Retreat:
(including all meals and accommodation)
£150 per person sharing.
Single room supplement £30
A special rate of £75 is available to anyone
who wishes to accompany their partner but not attend the workshops.
