Health and Fitness Programme

 

  • Are you unfit and perhaps could lose weight?

  • Can you not imagine yourself in the gym three times a week?

  • Have you failed miserably with dieting, and put on more weight after each attempt?

  • If the answers are YES, YES and YES then this 3 day programme could be for you!

We offer enjoyable breaks which include:-

 

1.   exercise by walking in one of the most beautiful parts of the world

2.   exercise programmes to continue at home with a minimum of equipment:

            - exercising muscles helps you feel good:

            - lose inches:

            - good muscle tone  prevents injuries;

            - working muscles uses up more calories.

3.   an insight into nutrition:-  what foods to eat while dieting, which will make you healthy, and make you feel satisfied, not hungry

4.   Suggestions for vegetarian cooking to help you increase your fruit and vegetable intake at home; this will help detoxify, decrease your chances of contracting cancer, improve your complexion, help you lose weight, improve your feel good factor. 

5.   yoga;  simple yoga exercises will be taught to help maintain or regain flexibility.  Stiffness and lack of flexibility is one of the main causes of musculoskeletal injuries

6.   table toners;- toning muscles the easy way by using table toners.

7.   optional beauty therapy (facial, massage).

 

Course Content:

 

Day 1      Arrival and introductions of participants.

               Lunch

               Exercising:  1.  Safety aspects;-  assessment of required intensity

                                                               of exercising to avoid doing harm

                                 2.  Exercise programme.

               Free time to walk or have beauty therapy.

               Evening meal

               8.00pm  Talk on Nutrition.

               Discussion on individual problems with dieting.

 

Day 2     Breakfast

               Working out individual 7 day diet pla n

               Yoga for health

               Lunch

               Muscle Toners

               Brisk walk along the Causeway Coast.

               Evening Meal.

               Free evening and/or Beauty Therapy.

 

Day 3      Breakfast

               Brisk Walk along another coastal route.

               Repeat of Exercise programme

               Recap on Home Plan for a Healthier Lifestyle.

               End of Course.

Course Cost

Price of 3 Day Course is £200 per person, if six people attend price per person is £150.  Prices are based on sharing twin rooms.  £40 single supplement.

Extra night B&B will be at reduced rate of £20.

Cost for partner who is not participating in course is £80.

Historical guided tours can be organized for spare/free time (fee for this extra).
