Carnside Guest House is situated on a hill, with this panoramic view, overlooking the Giant's Causeway, Portrush and Donegal.   The Giants Causeway is a world heritage site, famous for its six sided volcanic stone formation. 
The locals love the whole of this coastline, with it's hidden treasures, as seen in the photographs on this website;  it is indeed a walkers paradise.  The coastal scenery is ever changing and the sunsets from the house are stunning.

Carnside, with it's elevated position, is one of the most beautiful settings in the area for an overnight stay, or as a base for a walking holiday. The guest house is a ten minute walk to the Giant's Causeway and local restaurants, It's location is ideal  for walking, hiking or cycling "The Ulster Way" . It is possible to use the local bus service (goes hourly around the coast during summer months) to travel along the coast and then walk back to the guest house. Packed lunches are available for excursions;  bicycles can be stored in a garage and there is a private large car parking area, a drying room, and kennels for visitors dogs. Dogs not allowed in house.

Rates 2011  Bed & Breakfast is £27.50 with buffet breakfast (good selection) and £32.50 with cooked breakfast per person/night .
Rates for children if sharing bedroom with parents:- 10yrs and under = £12.50;  over 10yrs = £18 per night.  Euros and credit cards accepted.

Directions : From Bushmills follow signs to Giant's Causeway A2 .  One mile turn left onto B146 towards Giants Causeway . Half mile follow tourist board signs to Carnside Guest House.

Nearby is Portrush, a sea side resort, popular for decades, because of it's amusement parks and two beautiful beaches, plus various sporting activities, such as golf, tennis, surfing and horse riding.  Five excellent golf courses are within easy reach (one Championship course - Royal Portrush). Water-sports, surfing, sailing, fishing and riding are all close at hand.
